Fourth walling: I don't mind a little winking joke here and there, but please no outright canon puncturing.
Thread hopping : Usually not a problem at all. Check if the hopped-in thread seems dramatic or something.
Content warnings and sensitive subjects: I don't have any specific sensitivities around subject matter or topics. Please no random gory/shocking pictures without warning. Otherwise, if I am uncomfortable I will politely speak up.
Anything else: I have no preference between brackets or prose. Please format however you like and I will happily match. I tend to start off in prose but always feel free to swap!

★ In Character Permissions ★

Physical affection: Depends who you are. He doesn't mind friendly head or shoulder pats or other casual contact like that from people he knows. Anything closer gets him flustered at best, or grumbling and swatting at worst.

Romance: Nero is thoroughly devoted to his lady love Kyrie, and is not openly looking for romance. Flirting with him is both fine and encouraged, as he is an oblivious dip who won't get it, and when he does he'll try to politely squirm out of it and that is funny to me. Shipping is unlikely but I never say never.

Violence: Let's discuss! Nero loves to fight and is extremely skilled. He does not go after anyone weaker than him on principle, and he will defend himself if attacked.

Injuries: Let's discuss. Nero is more resilient than the average person and heals quicker too, but see above.

Death: Not without a lot of discussion first.

Telepathy and mind-reading: Let's discuss! He has no natural defenses against this sort of thing.

Content warnings and sensitive subjects related to the character: As a canon, Devil May Cry features supernatural horror, demons/monsters, discussions of childhood trauma/generational trauma, alcohol use/abuse, mass casualties (offscreen) and over-the-top violence presented in a cartoonish, stylish manner. There is plenty of blood and violence, but it is mostly committed against evil demons and monsters, not humans. DMC5/Nero's canonpoint features a city being destroyed and a large portion of the population being consumed by a demon tree.

For Nero personally, topics that may come up include child neglect/abandonment, religious trauma, survivor's guilt, being manipulated, physical assault, and flippant discussions of said stylish violence. Nero had his right forearm violently ripped off in a very bloody manner and he may mention this with or without going into gory details. I will check your permissions before he openly discusses this with your character.

Nero also swears like a sailor, but if politely asked not to will try to clean it up a bit.
