Swordplay/Marksmanship:
Nero served as a Holy Knight in the Order of the Sword, and was trained in swordplay as a teenager. His sword Red Queen has a built-in custom engine which can be revved to accelerate its speed/heft and can coat the blade in flames. He also embraced the use of firearms and built his magnum Blue Rose by himself. It is designed to fire two bullets a split-second off from each other, the first to pierce and the second to penetrate and do damage.
Devil Breaker:
Weaponized prosthetics that Nero can equip to his right arm. He has in his possession one Overture (shock punch,) one Gerbera (concussive blast,) one Punch Line (rocket skateboard fist,) and one Sweet Surrender (vibrator. Really.) Each is also equipped with a grappling wire that can snatch enemies or assist in climbing.
Demonic Blood:
Nero is 1/4th demon, the grandson of the legendary Dark Knight Sparda. There is evidence to suggest that Nero's humanity actually fuels the strength of his demonic blood, giving him untold potential.His supernatural abilities include the following demon bullshit:
- Strength: Nero can parry, wrestle, pin, and throw around even enemies who are massively bigger than him. The souped-up engine in his sword is said to be so idiotically strong that Nero is the only one who can keep a grip on it in action. The spectral arms of his Devil Bringer can augment his natural strength for even heavier lifting.
- Durability: Nero survives injuries that would kill an ordinary human, such as being stabbed, impaled, and having his right forearm ripped clean off. He is not quite as absurdly unkillable as his other family members, as he's weakened by blood loss and can be beaten severely enough to lose consciousness.
- Speed/Reflexes: Nero is exceptionally fast and shows heightened reflexes and dexterity. He can run fast enough to scale walls, and artfully flipping, dodging, and aerial maneuvering are hallmarks of his fighting style. In the DMC5 intro he leaps out of a speeding van and kills multiple demons in the time it takes him to flip over the top of the vehicle.
- Energy Channeling: Nero can channel a concentrated portion of demonic power for various uses. For example, he can pour energy into Blue Rose's bullets to make them hit harder, or can create a temporary platform in mid-air to step off of.
- Devil Bringer: Nero's original right arm developed a mutation that gave it enhanced strength, a spectral form, and the ability to detect and absorb demonic power. He has since grown it back, human-looking this time, along with two more demonic limbs in the form of spectral wings. When summoned, he can use his wings as bonus arms to punch harder, lift heavy objects, snatch/grapple things at a distance, and extend the height of his jumps/slow his falls.
- Devil Trigger: Nero can change into a demonic form that resembles a horned, scaled angel with long white hair. This greatly increases his strength and speed, rapidly heals him, and allows him to fly. New to using it, Nero can't maintain his Devil Trigger for long, less than a minute at a time (or until he exerts all his energy.)
[First Impressions]
Visual: Caucasian, 6'2", strong athletic build, short-clipped white hair and striking blue eyes. He dresses in a "punk" style with a focus on maneuverability and utility, and accessorizes with various bits of jewelry. He tends to wear a lot of blue with red accents.
Aural: Smug, snarky and low, or screaming at the top of his lungs in fury. VA: Johnny Yong Bosch
Olfactory: Engine grease, electricity, gunpowder, soap, and maybe a hint of brimstone.
Demeanor: Laid-back tough guy punk meets church boy. When he's calm, he's either cracking jokes and acting too cool for the situation, or being levelheaded and sincere. When he loses his temper he goes off, screaming, swearing, hyperemotional and irrational.

Magical Information: Nero is 1/4 demon. Any type of magic that could detect this is welcome to do so. Nero is typically able to sense demonic energy in other people as well.
Medical Information: Nero's physiology is largely normal for a human, but his heritage does grant him some bizarre aspects here and there. The time he grew his severed right arm back would be a notable example. He has abnormally high strength and endurance and especially in Devil Trigger can heal quicker than a normal person.
Offensive Subjects and Triggers: He has mellowed out substantially over the years and is (slightly) more difficult to upset or tease these days. However, insinuating or outright calling Nero weak, useless, or (say it with me now:) "deadweight" is the fastest way to piss him the fuck off. The more he otherwise trusts you, the worse it gets.

In general, Nero is famously devoted to his beloved girlfriend/fiancee Kyrie, so if he has any choice in the matter he is uninterested in shipping or smut with other people. In AU scenarios this does not apply, and in games this may change due to circumstances or event effects, but by and large he will decline the advances of others and won't make any himself. Never say never, though!
I welcome other characters flirting or making advances on him just to watch him try to politely fumble out of them.
