[The idiotic pleased grin that Nero grins when he gets an unprompted text from Vergil. Look, he's learning how useful they are! Even if he types like a dweeb. And he signs his texts. But he signs them "Dad." Awwww. c: ]
OK cool I'll clean the room, try to get the stank out of it
No. Someone else is making them. He is merely selling them.
[Granted, there's a degree of assumption going on here. Vergil didn't actual ask to clarify. But he knows V wouldn't be capable of bottling any sort of supernatural energy like that. And even if he were, what demonic power he has left, he needs for his own survival.]
They seem to be quite popular among the native spirits.
[He gives it a moment before following up. Look who has jokes!!]
I will ask him, but I would not anticipate a helpful response. He subsisted primarily on what scraps of food he could find and meat from the demons he felled. Meals like you are accustomed to are a novelty still.
There shouldn't be anything else that needs attending to that cannot wait.
[There's a little delay and then another message.]
Thank you for handling the room, Nero.
[Having spent the majority of their lives apart, Vergil is far from devastated with Dante's recent departure. There's also little point in being so upset when he knows their paths will cross again as they always do. Maybe not here in Folkmore, but certainly back home. Still, Vergil would rather not go through Dante's personal effects if he can avoid it. Nero taking on the responsibility of preparing the room for V was something he didn't need to do (only his agreement that V should stay with them for a while was needed), but it is appreciated nonetheless that he took that part on so readily.]
